I’ve been using Cook (Cardiff) for several years. The quality is exceptional. Tastes like homemade. My Mum, in her 80s and with a lifetime of good cooking, was sceptical - but was won over. Veggie range is very limited, but hey - fresh or frozen is pretty quick n easy. One can even roast a few parsnips as quick as it takes to cook Cook dishes! In sum? A real godsend.

Family are always keen to join us for your chicken,ham and leek pie. Delicious!

I bought the raspberry and pistachio torte as a time-saving vegan dessert for a meal with friends. It was very tasty with a pronounced almond flavour almost like a Bakewell tart and a crunchy pistachio topping. I served it with fresh raspberries which worked well.

Great quality food at a good price.

We regularly have Cook meals - we enjoy trying the selection of meals you provide and find them very satisfying. We think that they are a better quality than most prepared meals.

Always good value and a great stand by. The lasagne alforno has a permanent home in the freezer. Last Christmas the pear and ginger tart was a complete winner.

I ordered 5 dishes for 2 plus a couple of desserts on click and collect at about 11pm last Sunday evening and picked them up shortly after 10am on Monday ( emergency supplies due to my fridge/freezer breakdown) - excellent service in these challenging times. The food was as delicious as always - I have have used Cook intermittently for years and their Christmas dinner for 2 complete with everything definitely came into its own this last year!

I purchased the Moroccan Lamb filo pie for 6 last Wednesday 21 April 2021. I am sad to say it was extremely disappointing. It was a case of hunt the lamb there was so little, it was mostly squash with some chickpeas. It was also dry and I did not over cook it. I certainly would NOT recommend it and I will not, obviously, be purchasing it again.

We buy Cook meals quite often. My husband usually chooses a meat meal and I usually have a vegetarian or fish option. The meat and fish meals are always very good, tasty and a generous portion. I do find that the aubergines and peppers, in the veggie meals, are often a bit chewy. It does seem that a large number of the vegetarian options are in a tomato sauce which tends to make the meals rather similar, although they are always good. Our last purchase was the stuffed sea bass for two followed by the mango and passion fruit cheesecake, both were delicious.
The meals definitely taste more like homemade, much nicer than other ready meals. The staff here in Cirencester are always very pleasant and helpful.

The online experience couldn't be easier and such a range of meals available. Dishes are super tasty better than homemade. Quick, easy and safe click and collect at our local store. I often give my daughters gift vouchers to help them in their busy lives. It is a great thoughtful gift.
